Fredrick Smoot (born April 17, 1979) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, and was recognized as an All-American. The Washington Redskins chose him in the second round of the 2001 NFL draft, and he played for the Minnesota Vikings as well.
