Fred Tilley (born November 12, 1968) is a Canadian politician who was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in the 2021 Nova Scotia general election.[1] He represents the riding of Northside-Westmount as a member of the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservatives, having been elected as a member of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party.
Prior to becoming an MLA, Tilley worked in the retail, construction, fishing, harvesting, and post-secondary education industries.[2] Tilley served as Principal of NSCC's Marconi Campus from 2013 to 2021 and Academic Chair from 2001 to 2013. Tilley served as Liberal caucus chair and finance critic. As of September 22, 2024, Tilley serves as the Official Opposition critic for Economic Development, Tourism, and Public Works.
