Freedom of religion in Belarus

The Constitution of Belarus provides for freedom of religion; however, the Government restricted this right in practice.

The government notes that, “Work continues to protect the different Belarus religious groups and Belarus churches, and to guard against the influence of religious sects.”.^[1]
