Gaffneylania is an extinct genus of meiolaniid turtle from the Eocene of Patagonia.[1] Gaffneylania is among the earliest known meiolaniids and, much like its later relatives, possessed characteristic horns atop its head. The shell appears to have had a serrated margin. Gaffneylania is a monotypic genus, only containing a single species, Gaffneylania auricularis.
