Garshasp: The Monster Slayer is a third-person action-adventure video game developed by Fanafzar Sharif Studios and Dead Mage Inc. for Microsoft Windows.[1] The story and the game are based on the adventures of the mythological Persian monster-slayer Garshasp.[2] a Standalone Expansion Pack Garshasp: Temple of the Dragon was released in 2012.

Garshasp was released for Windows independently online on May 8, 2011, and was released through the Steam and GamersGate services a day later.[3] Upon release the game received mixed reviews, although it was consistently praised as an ambitious endeavor for an independent developer.[4][5]
