Genma Wars (Japanese: 幻魔大戦, Hepburn: Genma Taisen) is a Japanese science fiction manga and novel franchise that began in 1967. It was a collaboration in Weekly Shōnen Magazine by science fiction writer Kazumasa Hirai and manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori. It was adapted into a 1983 anime film, a 2002 anime television series, and a 1983 laserdisc video game called Bega's Battle in North America.
