Geoffrey Beattie FBPsS FRSM FRSA is a British psychologist, author and broadcaster. He is Professor of Psychology at Edge Hill University^[1] and in 2023 was appointed Visiting Scholar at the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing (OCLW) ^[2] and Wolfson College, ^[3] University of Oxford. He has also been visiting professor at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, University of California Santa Barbara.^[4] He graduated with a First Class Honours degree from the University of Birmingham and a PhD from Trinity College, Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
