George Constantin (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈdʒe̯ordʒe konstanˈtin]; 3 May 1933 – 30 April 1994) was a Romanian actor.[1] He appeared in more than fifty films from 1960 to 1994.

Born in Bucharest, he graduated in 1956 from the I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film Arts (IATC),[1] after which he started playing at the Nottara Theater [ro]. In the early 1960s he married the mezzo-soprano Iulia Buciuceanu [ro] (the sister of actress Tamara Buciuceanu); their son Mihai Constantin [ro], born in 1964, is also an actor.[2]

In 1971, he was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit [ro], 2nd class.[3]
