George Kepford "Lefty" James (April 12, 1905 – January 9, 1994) was an American football and baseball coach. He served as the head football coach at Cornell University from 1947 to 1960. Four of his teams won unofficial Ivy League titles and he ran Cornell's physical training program during World War II.
