George McGuinness (6 October 1887 – 1 July 1916) was an English footballer who played as a forward for Spanish club Real Sociedad.[1] He is most known for his goals at the 1909 Copa del Rey to help Club Ciclista win the title for the first time, netting a then national record of six in a single tournament including a hat-trick against Athletic Club and the opening goal of the final.[2]
