Germain Pilon

Monument containing the heart of Henry II of France.

Germain Pilon (c. 1525 – 3 February 1590)[1] was a French Renaissance sculptor.

He is, along with Jean Goujon, one of the most important sculptors of the French Renaissance. Best known as the creator of many of the tombs of the House of Valois.
