Goaso is a city which doubles as the capital of the Ahafo Region and Asunafo North Municipal District of Ghana. Goaso as a nodal town is one of the most peaceful and business friendly cities in Ghana. Businesses thrive exceptionally well as It is often said; if a business does not excel at Goaso, then it won't excel anywhere else. It has population of 30,146 according to the 2021 population census.[1][2] The town is run by a traditional council, with Nana Akwasi Bosompra I having the title of Omanhene.[3]
