God Is a Bullet is the eighth studio album by The Mission. It was released at the end of April 2007[2] by SPV Records in Germany and Cooking Vinyl in the UK.[3] The album features guest appearances by Julianne Regan, Tim Bricheno and Simon Hinkler. It was preceded by the single "Keep It in the Family" which was followed by "Blush". "Running with Scissors" reuses the music Wayne Hussey composed for Atsushi Sakurai's 2004 song "Sacrifice".[4]

[...]I was asked to write a tune for Sakurai's solo album, which I did, and Sakurai wrote the lyrics. [...] Sakurai is, apparently, a fan of the earlier Mission albums and wanted me to write a tune for him in the style of....... I did, indeed, play all the instruments on the original version of the song but I have just recorded a new version of this song with The Mission that we will probably use as a 'b' side or an extra track sometime.....
