Gonzalez is a census-designated place (CDP) in Escambia County, Florida. Gonzalez is located north of Pensacola, and is considered to be within Cantonment. Tate High School, the largest public school in Escambia County, is located in the Gonzalez area. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 14,586, up from 13,273 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pensacola—Ferry PassBrent, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
