Good Newwz is a 2019 Indian comedy film directed by Raj Mehta in his directotal debut and produced by Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. It stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani and revolves around two couples' tryst with in vitro fertilization.[3][4]
Principal photography commenced in November 2018 and wrapped up by April 2019.[5]
The film was released theatrically on 27 December 2019 coinciding New Year Festivities and became one of the highest grossing Indian films of 2019, with a final worldwide gross of ₹3.18 billion (US$45.16 million); it is Kumar's highest-grossing film in India. With this film, Kumar set a new record in 2019 by having three consecutive domestic 200 Crore Club net films alongside Mission Mangal and Housefull 4.[6][2]
