Grafenau (German pronunciation: [ɡʁaːfəˈnaʊ̯] ) is a town in the Freyung-Grafenau district, in Bavaria, Germany. 32 km north of Passau, the town is situated in the Bavarian Forest and is the base of the Bavarian Forest National Park Authority.
