Grand Bruit, Newfoundland and Labrador

Grand Bruit (/ˈɡrændbrɪt/; means "great noise" in French) is a designated place and former settlement in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is on the southwestern coast of the island of Newfoundland. Grand Bruit was resettled in 2010.[1] The community was divided down the middle by a waterfall, hence the name "Grand Bruit" which is French for "great noise".[2]
