Grandfalls is a town in Ward County, Texas, United States. It was named for its location near the "grand falls" of the Pecos River, located roughly 3 miles (4.8 km) to the west.[4] Early settlers were attracted to the Grandfalls area in the late 1880s by the steady supply of water flowing in the Pecos River.[4] Its population was 340 at the 2020 census.
