The Great Filly Stakes is a discontinued Thoroughbred horse race run from 1901 through 1909 that began as one of the richest events for two-year-old fillies in the United States with $23,975 going to the winner. It was run on dirt over a distance of six furlongs at the Sheepshead Bay Race Track in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, New York.[1]
