Grigori Yakovlevich Sokolnikov[a] (born Hirsch Brilliant or Girsh Yankelevich Brilliant;[b] 15 August 1888 – 21 May 1939) was a Russian Old Bolshevik revolutionary, economist, and Soviet politician.
