Gymnopilus cyanopalmicola is a species of mushroom-forming fungus in the family Hymenogastraceae. Found in tropical Mexico, it was described as new to science by Mexican mycologist Laura Guzmán Dávalos in 2006.[1] The flesh of this mushroom turns blue when bruised, hence the specific epithet.[1]
