The HIV/AIDS Bureau is a part of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The HIV/AIDS Bureau was established in 1990 as a part of the Ryan White CARE Act and is most notable for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, which stands as the U.S. government's social response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic of the late 20th century.
