The Hadharem (Arabic: حضارم, romanized: ḥaḍārim; singular: Hadhrami (Arabic: حضرمي, romanized: ḥaḍramī)) are an Arabic-speaking ethnographic group indigenous to the Hadhramaut region in South Arabia, which is part of modern-day Yemen. The spoken language of the Hadharem within Hadhramaut is Hadhrami Arabic.[1] Among the two million inhabitants of Hadhramaut, there are about 1,300 distinct tribes.[2]
