Hamfest India is an annual amateur radio convention for amateur radio operators and people interested in shortwave listening held in India since 1991. The General Body of the preceding event decides the venue for the upcoming event. The event usually has technical sessions, presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations, sales of radio equipment, and a flea market. The event also aims to create more awareness of Ham Radio.^[1]
