Hanamakonda is a major city and the district headquarters of Hanamkonda district in the Indian state of Telangana. Earlier in history, Hanamakonda was a separate city, but now the three urban cities Kazipet, Hanamakonda and Warangal are together known as the Warangal Tri-City. The three cities are connected by National Highway 163[1][2]
