Harper County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kansas. Its county seat and most populous city is Anthony.[3] As of the 2020 census, the county population was 5,485.[1] The county was named for Sergeant Marion Harper of the 2nd Kansas Cavalry, who died in battle during the American Civil War.[4]
