Harvey Jay Mason Jr. (born June 3, 1968) is an American record producer, songwriter and film producer who has served as the chief executive officer (CEO) of The Recording Academy since 2021.[1] From both his solo work and as part of the production duo the Underdogs, he has been credited on releases for artists including Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, and Stevie Wonder, among others.[2]
