Heshmatollah Tabarzadi (Persian: حشمت‌الله طبرزدی; born March 21, 1959) is an Iranian democratic activist. Tabarzadi has been arrested several times on charges related to his political activities, most recently in December 2009.[1] In October 2010, a court sentenced him to nine additional years in jail and 74 lashes, a sentence that was reduced to eight years on appeal.

During the revolutionary uprising of 1401 in Iran, Heshmat Tabarzadi was arrested in his mother's house located in Golpayegan, a few days after Mehsa Amini's ascension, and he is still in exile in Isfahan Central Prison. Heshmat Tabarzadi is accused of war, corruption in the land, cooperation with hostile countries against the Islamic Republic, seducing and inciting people to kill, colluding and insulting the leadership and several other cases. His trial will be held on May 14, 2023. Among the detainees of the Iranian people's revolutionary uprising, Heshmat Tabarzadi is the oldest detainee at the age of 64.
