Heydarkanlu (Persian: حيدركانلو, also Romanized as Ḩeydarkanlū; also known as Ḩeydar Kānlū-ye ‘Olyā and Ḩeydarkhanlū)[1] is a village in Minjavan-e Sharqi Rural District, Minjavan District, Khoda Afarin County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 335, in 85 families.[2]
In the wake of White Revolution (early 1960s) the ruling clan of Mohammad Khanlu tribe, comprising 60 families, spent their winter in Heydarkanlu.[3]
