High Commission of Malta, New Delhi

The High Commission (Embassy) of Malta in New Delhi, India opened in 2007 to further foster and enhance Malta-India Bilateral Relations which were established on 10 March 1965, soon after Malta obtained its Independence on 21 September 1964.[1]

Throughout the years, the High Commission of Malta in New Delhi, India became accredited to the neighboring countries of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

The current High Commissioner of Malta to India (since September 2020) is H.E. Mr Reuben Gauci who serves as Malta's resident High Commissioner to India, and as Malta's non-resident High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. H.E. Reuben Gauci is also non-resident Ambassador of Malta to Nepal.[2]
