Home Sweet Home Alone (also known as Home Alone 6) is a 2021 American Christmas comedy film directed by Dan Mazer, from a screenplay by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell. The film stars Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Archie Yates, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Pete Holmes, Ally Maki, Chris Parnell, and Devin Ratray, who reprising his role as Buzz McCallister from the first two films for the first time since 1992. The sixth film in the Home Alone franchise, Home Sweet Home Alone was produced by 20th Century Studios as an original title for Disney+, and the first 20th Century Studios film to be produced for the streaming service. The film was announced after The Walt Disney Company acquired 21st Century Fox and inherited the rights to the Home Alone franchise.[1] Home Sweet Home Alone was released on November 12, 2021, to generally negative reviews from critics.
