Horizon is a science fiction action role-playing game series developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows. The series follows the adventures of Aloy, a young huntress living in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zoomorphic robots.
The series consists of two main games: Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, alongside a spin-off VR title, Horizon Call of the Mountain. A spin-off game, in collaboration with Lego, is announced for release later in 2024 for PS5, Windows, and Nintendo Switch.[1] As of 9 May 2023, the franchise has sold over 32 million units worldwide.[2]
