Hot Tub Time Machine is a 2010 American science-fiction comedy film directed by Steve Pink and written by Josh Heald, Sean Anders, and John Morris. The film stars John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke as four men who accidentally time travel back to 1986 via a hot tub and must find a way to return to their own time. The supporting cast includes Crispin Glover, Lizzy Caplan, and Chevy Chase.
The film was released on March 26, 2010. It received mixed-to-positive reviews and was a commercial success, grossing $64.6 million against a budget of $36 million. A sequel, Hot Tub Time Machine 2, was released on February 20, 2015.
