Hrid Majharey (হৃদ্ মাঝারে) (English: Live in my Heart) is a 2014 India-Bengali romantic tragedy film written and directed by debutant Bengali filmmaker Ranjan Ghosh. It was originally presented as a tribute to Shakespeare on the 450th anniversary of his birth in 2014.[1][2] Its first showing occurred at a British conference about the Bard held in London.[3][4][5][6] In 2015, the movie was screened at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.[7]
Abir Chatterjee and Raima Sen debuted together in a romantic pairing for the first time in this modern revisiting of the works of William Shakespeare.[8][9][10][11][12]
