Hydra e. V. is a German self-help and advocacy group for prostitutes.[1] The self- proclaimed "Hurenorganisation" (Whore organisation) is a non-profit association that was founded in 1980 by interested women as the first West German organisation of the Sex Workers' Rights Movement.[2] The club name refers to the Hydra, a nine-headed sea monster in Greek and Roman mythology.
