"I Believe (A Soulful Re-Recording)" is a single by the British band Tears for Fears. It was the band's eleventh single release, and as a live re-recording of a song from their second LP Songs from the Big Chair, it effectively served as that album's fifth single. It was Tears for Fears' ninth UK Top 40 hit (peaking at #23).[2] The song also reached the Top 10 in Ireland[3] and peaked at #28 in New Zealand.[4]
The song was written by Roland Orzabal. The album version of "I Believe" is dedicated to Robert Wyatt in the liner notes.[5]
