It was screened in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition section of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.^[1] The film's theme revolves around the conservation of indigenous language and culture– it's a part of a larger movement of Latin-American films that feature indigenous languages in order to give a voice to those historically silenced.^[2]
