It was serviced to rhythmic and urban radio on February 24, 2003, as the album's second single. The song was featured on the soundtrack for the 2002 film Empire. written and produced by The Neptunes (Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams), the latter having uncredited vocals on the track.
