It was released on April 3, 2000, as the lead single from Moore's reissue of the same name (2000) and as a single from the soundtrack to the 2000 film Center Stage.[2][3] The song received positive reviews from critics. It peaked at number 24 in the United States Billboard Hot 100, becoming Moore's first and only top 30 single in the US. The song also peaked at number 13 in Australia and was certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). The music video for the song, directed by Nigel Dick, shows Moore singing the song to her love interest in a dance studio.
