Ibroyim Yusupov (Karakalpak: Ibrayım Yusupov, Uzbek: Ibroyim Yusupov; 5 May 1929 – 24 July 2008) was a Soviet, Karakalpak and Uzbek poet, translator and playwright, and a teacher. He was the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan. He was also the Hero of Uzbekistan (2004).[1]
He was the author of the text of the anthem of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
