Idhu Namma Aalu (lit. 'He is our man'; contextual: He is from our caste) is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language comedy film written by K. Bhagyaraj and directed by Balakumaran in his debut.[1][2] It was released on 1 August 1988. The film was remade in Telugu as Adirindhi Alludu (1996),[3] and twice in Kannada: as Aliya Alla Magala Ganda (1997) and Ravi Shastri (2006).[4]
