Ikawa (井川町, Ikawa-machi) is a town located in Akita, Japan. As of 1 March 2023[update], the town had an estimated population of 4658 in 1740 households [1] and a population density of 91 persons per km2. The total area of the town was 47.95 square kilometres (18.51 sq mi).
