Iqbal Geoffrey (1939–2021) was a Pakistani-American modernist painter.[1] A trained lawyer as well as an artist, Geoffrey's artistic successes included numerous solo exhibitions and receipt of the Huntington Hartford Fellowship, among others. His works include intricately detailed gouache paintings, mixed media and ink drawings of which several feature Sanskrit writing and sans-serif typefaces, embellished mandala symbols and Arabic design motifs.[2]
