Summer Paralympics appearances (overview)

Ireland was one of twenty-eight nations to send a delegation to compete at the 1968 Summer Paralympics in Tel Aviv, Israel from November 4 to 13, 1968.[1][2] The team finished nineteenth in the medal table and won a total of nine medals; four silver and five bronze.[3] Seven Irish athletes competed at the Games, five men and two women.[1][n 1]

Rosaleen Gallagher won a medal in four different sports; archery, athletics, swimming and table tennis.[4]
