Isaac Edgardo Paredes Calderón (born February 18, 1999) is a Mexican professional baseball third baseman for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Rays.
Paredes signed with the Cubs as an amateur free agent in 2015 and was traded to the Tigers in 2017. He made his MLB debut with the Tigers in 2020 and was traded to the Rays after the 2021 season. Paredes was an All-Star with the Rays in 2024, and that season was traded to the Cubs.
