Itzy (Korean있지; RRItji; MRItchi; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. Itzy is recognized for their "teen crush" concept and explore themes of independence and self-love in their music.

Itzy debuted on February 12, 2019, with the single album It'z Different and its commercially successful lead single "Dalla Dalla", which peaked at number two on the Circle Digital Chart, the Billboard K-pop Hot 100, and the US World Digital Songs chart. It achieved the highest number of views in 24 hours for a K-pop group's debut video and became the best-performing girl group song of the year in South Korea. Itzy was the first K-pop girl group in history to achieve a "Rookie Grand Slam" by winning all the Rookie of the Year awards at the 34th Golden Disc Awards, 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards, 2019 Melon Music Awards, 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards, and 29th Seoul Music Awards.[2][3]

Itzy released the extended plays It'z Icy, It'z Me, Not Shy, and Guess Who between 2019 to 2021, each of which spawned a top-ten single in South Korea: "Icy", "Wannabe", "Not Shy", and "In the Morning". The latter EP marked Itzy's first entry on the US Billboard 200. On September 24, 2021, the group released their debut studio album Crazy in Love, which peaked at number 11 on the Billboard 200. Itzy's fifth EP Checkmate (2022) was their first to surpass one million copies sold and their first top-ten entry on the Billboard 200 at number 8. Its lead single "Sneakers" was a commercial success in South Korea, peaking at number five on the Circle Digital Chart and topping the Billboard South Korea Songs chart.
