John Reid Smith (2 April 1895 – 1 September 1946) was a Scottish footballer, who played as a centre forward and helped Bolton Wanderers win the FA Cup in 1923 and 1926. His son (Jack Denver Smith) and grandson (Barry Smith) also played for Bolton Wanderers.[citation needed]
