Jacques Genest CC GOQ FRSC (May 29, 1919 – January 5, 2018) was a Canadian physician and scientist. He founded the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM)[1] and was an emeritus professor at Université de Montréal [2] and a professor at McGill University.[3] Genest was best known for founding and leading several organizations related to clinical research in Québec and for his work on arterial hypertension.
