Jacques Morel (actor)

Jacques Morel (French pronunciation: [ʒak mɔʁɛl]; 29 May 1922 in Paris – 9 April 2008 in Paris) was a French film and television actor. He was, perhaps, best known as the French language voice of the cartoon character, Obelix, in the animated adaptation of the comic book, Asterix.^[1]

Jacques Morel died in Paris, France, on 9 April 2008, at the age of 85.^[1]
