Jagannath Aur Purvi Ki Dosti Anokhi, also known as Dosti Anokhi, (transl. Strange friendship of Purvi & Jagannath) is an Indian Hindi language television serial produced by Rajita Sharma and Vivek Budakoti.[2] It features Ishmeet Kohli, Rajendra Gupta, and Sushmita Mukherjee in the lead roles.[3] It is made under the banner of Katha Kottage Production.[4] The show aired from 7 February 2022 to 10 June 2022 on Sony TV.[5]
The story is about an older couple, Pandit Jagannath and Kusum Mishra, and a girl named Purvi Singh,[6] and their story after the Mishras' son, daughter-in-law, and daughter have emigrated.[7] The programme is focused on the time after 72-year-old Jagannath saves Poorvi's life and brings her to the Mishras' house.[8][9][10][11]
